What Is DirtRacer?

DirtRacer helps MTB clubs run enduro, gravity, and trail events using Strava segment timing. Riders join online, connect Strava, and complete stages on their own schedule during the event window. Results update automatically as efforts are scored.

Clubs manage events, series, branding, and trail support pledges from a self-service dashboard — without manual timing crews or spreadsheet wrangling.

How Virtual MTB Racing Works

Traditional MTB racing requires everyone at the same place at the same time. DirtRacer flips that model: the event has a start and end time, but you choose when to ride within that window.

  • Join the event and select your category.
  • Ride the listed Strava segments any time between the event start and finish.
  • Upload your activity to Strava before the upload cutoff.
  • Compare yourself on live leaderboards — no mass start required.

How Strava Timing Works

DirtRacer uses rider-authorised Strava data to match your segment efforts against event stages. You approve consent when joining; DirtRacer reads your activities and calculates best times according to the event timing rules.

DirtRacer is not affiliated with or endorsed by Strava.

How Series Work

Clubs can run multi-round series across a season. Each round is a virtual event with its own window — complete rounds whenever the window is open. Points accumulate automatically and series standings update as rounds are finalised.

How Support Local Trails Works

Every DirtRacer event can support local trail volunteers and maintenance groups through optional Support Local Trails pledges. Riders can pledge when joining; totals appear on event, club, and platform pages as part of the DirtRacer Trail Impact Network.
